Summary:

The Assistant Manager– Subject Matter Expert (Maths & Science) will play a vital role in designing and delivering a robust curriculum for Muskaan Dreams’ Innovators of Tomorrow program. This role involves developing engaging content to teach coding and 21st-century skills, with topics ranging from Scratch and AI to advanced programming languages like C++, Python, and React. The ideal candidate will ensure that learning resources, teacher training materials, and program SOPs are aligned with the program’s vision and impactful delivery.  This is an opportunity to contribute to an innovative program that bridges the digital divide and builds future-ready skills for students in government schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and strengthen existing science and mathematics videos and e-content available on the Muskaan Dream app.
• Research relevant educational platforms and online resources to find & curate engaging educational content for science and mathematics
• Track and analyse student engagement and teacher feedback to inform future content development
• Design activities that complement the videos and content found for the app.
• Design STEM activities for teacher capacity-building programs.
• Develop engaging content for science and mathematics teachers, including lesson plans, STEM activities, resource books, etc.
• Conduct training and capacity development programs for teachers on science and mathematics curriculum, incorporating technology and the Muskaan Dream app.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in science and mathematics education.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Science ,Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience curriculum design, content development for Science and/or mathematics
• Past experience of working in the education/non-profit sector
• Candidates possessing experience in teaching science/mathematics at the elementary/secondary grade will be preferred.

Skills:

• Strong content development skills with an ability to simplify scientific and mathematical skills for students.
• Proficiency in developing teacher training and student engagement materials.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms for content creation and delivery.

Additional Requirements:

• Prior experience in the development or education sectors will be an added advantage.
