Summary:

As Program Lead, you will spearhead the design, development, and execution of innovative educational programs while driving training initiatives to enhance teacher capacity and program impact. Reporting to the Associate Director of Program & Impact, you will collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions, develop program frameworks, and implement training strategies that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Design and Development:

• Lead the conceptualization and development of innovative, scalable program frameworks addressing key challenges in education.
• Design solutions focused on digital education, teacher empowerment, and STEM integration in government schools.
• Ensure alignment of program strategies with organizational goals, Theory of Change, and government priorities.

Training and Capacity Building:

• Develop comprehensive training modules and resources to build teacher capacity in technology integration and pedagogy.
• Conduct training needs assessments to tailor content and delivery for diverse audiences, including teachers and education administrators.
• Oversee the execution of large-scale training programs, ensuring high engagement and measurable outcomes.

Program Implementation and Management:

• Oversee end-to-end program implementation, including planning, execution, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Manage program timelines, resources, and risks to deliver impactful outcomes within deadlines.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL):

• Design and implement robust MEL frameworks to track program effectiveness and teacher/student outcomes.
• Analyze data to assess program impact and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with government stakeholders, donors, and partner organizations to co-create program solutions.
• Advocate for adoption and scale-up of Muskaan Dreams’ programs across public systems.

Innovation and Impact Building:

• Drive innovation in program design by incorporating emerging technologies and global best practices.
• Build evidence-based impact frameworks to demonstrate program effectiveness and influence policy-level decisions.

Knowledge Management and Documentation:

• Develop knowledge products, including case studies, reports, and manuals, to share best practices and lessons learned.
• Promote a culture of learning within the organization to drive innovation and effectiveness.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Mentor program managers and coordinators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools, knowledge, and resources for successful program delivery.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in Education, Public Policy, Development Studies, or related fields.
• Experience: 8-12 years of experience in program design, development, implementation, and training in the education sector.
• Proven track record in developing large-scale training programs, preferably in teacher education and capacity building.
• Skills:
• Expertise in instructional design, pedagogy, and curriculum development.
• Strong knowledge of India’s education landscape, especially government school systems and digital education policies.
• Proficiency in monitoring and evaluation, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; additional Indian languages are a plus.
