As a Development Communications Associate, you will be responsible for creating and curating impactful content that highlights key issues in education, technology, and the social sector. Your contributions will 

play a crucial role in advancing our mission by amplifying our efforts in digital inclusion and enhancing engagement with diverse stakeholders. This position requires exceptional writing skills, a strong understanding of government-led initiatives in technology and education, and relevant experience within the social impact sector.




Scope of Work includes but is not limited to:

Content Creation:

  1. Develop content related to education, public policy, and social impact issues, including white papers, research papers, position statements, and reports.
  2. Create compelling copies for social media and digital campaigns.
  3. Write video scripts for impact films, stakeholder interviews, and media bytes.
  4. Social Media Management:
  5. Craft engaging and shareable content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  6. Manage social media calendars and ensure brand voice consistency across channels.
  7. Copywriting & Internal Communication:
  8. Write persuasive copy for marketing materials, newsletters, and memos.
  9. Support external communication efforts such as press releases, media pitches, and stakeholder updates.
  10. Blog & Article Submissions:
  11. Research and write blog posts and articles on key policy topics. Identify and submit content for external publication.
  12. Report Writing:
  13. Compile and synthesize research findings into clear, concise reports for internal and external stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:


  1. Bachelor’s degree (minimum) + Masters (preferred) in Public Policy, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.
  2. 2-3 years of relevant experience in content creation, writing, or communications within the development or education sectors.
  3. Strong writing and editing skills in English.
  4. Familiarity with the social impact sector and its key stakeholders.
  5. Proven ability to produce high-quality reports, articles, and marketing content.
  6. Ability to conduct thorough research and simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
  7. Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Prior experience in the development or education sectors is mandatory.
